How OFAWL Can Help

OFAWL is the local chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, connecting members of the Okaloosa County legal community to a statewide network of more than 3,000 fellow members. Common reasons our members and friends get in touch include:

  • Membership — learning how to join OFAWL and the benefits of becoming part of Okaloosa's growing community of women in the legal profession.
  • Leadership — exploring leadership opportunities and development at the local and statewide level through FAWL committees and the Executive Board.
  • Advocacy — support for members seeking appointment to Bar committees and Judicial Nominating Commissions.
  • Sponsorship — partnering with OFAWL as an organization that wants to help support our endeavors and the community at large.
  • Events — questions about the Annual Meeting, Leadership Retreat, Mid-Year Meeting, Lobby Days, and other signature FAWL events.
